A. I'm not a very co-ordinated person and I can do it as well as the next man. I hope to go commercial when I'm older. And it is quite a grammatical thing as you are constantly communicating with Radar and other things. You need to be able to view multiple dials at one time very much like a car but the level of concentration required in comparison to driving a car is tenfold. But if you want to be a pilot here are some links you could use. www.ftejerez.com www.oaa.com

A. A floor installer is not considered a skilled profession for Canadian Immigration. Skilled workers are people whose skills are in short supply, like medical doctors. Floor installers are not in short supply in Canada, and therefore your husband cannot qualify.

How long should it take us to receive a Regional Skilled Migration Visa to Australia?
Q. We just mailed our skills assessment and expect to receive a good result. We will be moving to either Western Australia, Tasmania, South Australia, or Victoria, in one of the wine regions. We are hoping to purchase a vineyard/orchard/bed and breakfast accommodation and manage it ourselves. We are applying for the skilled regional visa rather than the business owner's visa to give us more flexibility in employment. Any suggestions?

A. Hi there, Processing time will depend on a couple on things, e.g. the state you apply to and your nominated occupation. Also, is it the Skilled Independent Regional (SIR) visa or the State / Territory Nominated Independent (STNI) you are applying for? If you are thinking of applying for the SIR are you aware that it is only a temporary residence visa in which case it might be worthwhile investigating your permanent residence options. If you email me your details at answers@visalogic.net I can provide you with more exact information.

A. If you're between 18 and 30 and come from a country that has working holiday arrangements with Australia, you should be able to get a Working Holiday visa. That will allow you to do any type of work (skilled or unskilled) for up to 12 months but you must not work for any given employer for longer than 6 months. You must be outside Australia when you apply and when the visa is granted. If you don't qualify for a working holiday visa, you would need to find an employer to sponsor you for a Temporary Business (Long Stay) - Standard Business Sponsorship (Subclass 457) visa. The occupation must be on the Skilled Occupations List (SOL); you must be qualified to do that job; the employer must make an application to sponsor you and must meet… [cont.]

How can I help my sister get skilled ay basketball?
Q. I am not bad at basketball, but my sister wants to learn to get better from me, but I don't know where to start. How can I help my sister get skilled ay basketball?
Asked by Da Masta - Sun Oct 18 12:27:44 2009 - - 5 Answers - 0 Comments

A. Dribbling with both hands is where you should start. Practice v-dribble and crossovers with each hand. Lay-ups with both hands is also very important. Next move to the jumpshot. Start close to the basket and stress proper form. If you don't have an idea of what a proper form looks like it is easy to find in online. The third part would be defense and rebounding. Practice with a good defensive stance and teach her how to play good 1 on 1 defense. Also show her how to box out. Basketball only has a couple of key components to it. So practice these areas with repetition.

A. It depends on your nominated occupation. If the assessment authority for your nominated occupation is the Australian Computer Society (ACS), you must have a degree with a strong IT major and 4 years professional level experience. If your occupation is assessed by vetassess, then a degree and 1 year's experience is acceptable. Check the ASRI list for the assessing authority for your occupation:

A. Province of Como or most northern regions of Italy are considered more affluent and consequently, the workers gain higher salaries to support the higher cost of living. Self-employed people may wish to join the Unione di Commercio, which provides a range of information and assistance for the self-employed . Please consult the website cited below, to learn more. I hope that yr husband has applied for the proper authorizations and license required for a sole trader or self-employed individual. Note: You should never be tempted to start work before you re registered, for which there are stiff penalties, which may include a large fine, confiscation of machinery or tools, deportation and even a ban from entering Italy for a number of years.… [cont.]

Asked by Christian - Fri Jan 8 13:34:05 2010 - - 3 Answers - 0 Comments

A. The acceptability of overseas qualifications depends very much on the quality of the educational institution where you gained them, the occupation you have nominated and the requirements of the Australian skills assessment body responsible for assessment of that occupation. Well over half of Australia's skilled immigrants gained their qualifications in their own country, so unless there is something particularly lacking in the tertiary education or trade training system in your own country, you should also be able to do so, though you may need some additional education in order to pass skills assessment for some occupations. "Do i have to do a job related to my qualifications?" I'm not really sure if you're asking about your work… [cont.]

A. Hi Rocker... I am a COTA working in a SNF. I enjoy it because I really enjoy the elderly. I would be better equiped to answer your question if I knew what settings you were comparing a SNF to. One of the major requirements (neither pro nor con) for working in a SNF is an understanding of Medicare and other payor source guidelines. Other than that, the interventions are pretty much the same with special attention paid to conditions and precautions of the frail and elderly. Hope this helps!

How do you build roads, bridges, and overpasses without highly skilled construction workers?
Q. ??? Inspired by: "Criteria can be set so that the money does go to others, the long term unemployed minorities, women, people who are not necessarily construction workers or high-skilled professionals." You do need skilled workers on road construction - you need carpenters, masoners, and other skilled trades - obviously not to be flag-wavers but for other positions.

A. Current processing times are listed on the CIC website and show the percentage of applications processed within a certain time - the current processing rate for the London office for Skilled Workers applying federally (as opposed to for Quebec) is that 30% of cases are finalised within 31 months, 50% of cases are finalised within 33 months, 70% of cases are finalised within 35 months, and 80% of cases are finalised within 38 months. If you have family in Canada and are taking family with you it makes no difference in processing time, but it will make a difference in your qualification (number of points, etc). What would happen if an extremely skilled forex trader cornered the worlds currency market, and managed to...?
Q. I want to know in your opinion what you think would happen if one day an extremely skilled, talented and diciplined forex trader took 100, and doubled it every day for a year which I know isn't even possible, but if they managed to, and managed to corner and accumulate the currency markets worldwide, what would the govenments and people of the world do about it if someone did this?
Asked by William M - Wed Dec 30 09:07:15 2009 - - 2 Answers - 0 Comments

A. Firstly, there isn't anywhere near enough money on the planet for someone to double their money every day. Do the maths and you'll see that you end up with well over 10^100 pounds - which is billions of pounds for every proton in the universe!! But even the greatest traders do not come anywhere near doubling their money in a day. They make profits by trading vast sums on tiny margins. A 1% profit in a day is excellent if you were trading with 10 million. And in any case there is a limited supply of currency, which is small compared to the reserves held by governments (of their own and other major world currencies). If one trader (or bank) bought up all the available Pounds Sterling, the impact would not be catastrophic. And to do so… [cont.]

What are things that make a skilled pianist?
Q. Im doing a project where you have to record a radio show and I need to be able to record examples of things that make a skilled pianist.
Asked by Steve - Mon Jun 18 20:30:30 2007 - - 10 Answers - 0 Comments

A. Musicality and Dexterity. Musicality is going to encompass things like a good musical ear. I believe that a skilled pianist needs to have impeccable pitch...not perfect, but really good relative pitch. Musicality will also include things such as simple musicianship like phrasing. A knowledge of theory is also helpful. Dexterity simply is the physical aspect. A skilled pianist needs to have the hands of a surgeon. Nimble, agile, and very sensitive to the piano. By combining the necessary physical attributes needed with a good sense of musicality, one will have a skilled pianist.

I need to know if any one applied under this new law and got a response for the same. If yes, How long does it takes to get a case file number from CIC. And any clue how long does the entire process takes? that is, from sending the first application to getting the PR approved.
Asked by jyotsna b - Tue Mar 17 12:07:56 2009 - - 2 Answers - 0 Comments

A. The 6-12 months is their goal. How long it will take them to reach that goal, nobody knows. They applied the new rules to applications since the end of February 2008 but they did not actually post the new rules until the end of November resulting in 9 months worth of applications sitting around when they started to process them which makes it unlikely that they will reach that 6-12 months goal just yet. Should be faster than the 6-7 years that it used to take from some countries though.
