A. The prices in Belize compared to the US will be higher - due to the waker US Dollar. But there is no reason to think that the Belieze real estate market would follow the US real estate market. They are two different countries with two completely different economies. In the US, we had several years of exceptional rises in property values, low interest rates, and conditions where just about anyone could get a mortgage. For several years, if you could fog a mirror, you could own your own home. In the US, it is now time to "Pay the Piper" so to speak. The huge number of loans to sub-prime borrowers combined with rising interest rates have caused increases in the number of foreclosures across the country. Foreclosures generally bring… [cont.]
