My fiance wants to fight for custody of his 3 year old child. Where do we start?
Q. The childs mother had tried to kill herself repeatedly and is taking lithium currently for her Bi-polar disorder. My fiance thinks she is dangerous to herself and others. They currently share custody, but he wants his son to come and live with us. We dont have the money to hire a lawyer, but we need advice on who to talk to. Is there a way to fight for custody without paying phenominal costs. We really want to take care of this right away. Help please!

A. Contact Child Protective Services and hopefully he will be able to provide dates and places the child's mother has been taken for her disorder to prove she would not be the best parent to have the child with. An even stronger case would be that you and your fiance tie the knot and legally get married then show you could provide a more stable home.

A. Talk to your fiance about it, see what you would both enjoy. Because a wedding that only half the couple likes is a sucky wedding, let me tell you. Ruins the whole mood.

How come my fiance thinks that giving oral sex is the most romantic thing a girl could do ?
Q. My fiance thinks that giving oral sex to me is the most romantic thing she could ever do a guy, she says it's romantic because it's between a loving couple and it is an exchange of body fluids which is really romantic as she says. How come my fiance thinks that it is romantic ? I appreciate her doing it, but I'm wondering why does she think it is romantic ? I've asked her and she replied to me in a way i don't understand.

A. i Agree with your fiance, I don't understand her Fluid reasons. But Hopefully if i tell you mine you can get a better understanding as to why she might think so. As your fiance said "It's Romantic because it's between a loving couple" - that's where she should of stopped. I Agree with her because in my opinion Oral sex is nothing like regular sex. It's something more special it's more like a privilege if you get it from a girl. A Lot of girls (like myself think its nasty to just give any boyfriend oral sex i mean come on it goes in your mouth) i think it's something very valuable that you should only do with someone you truly love.

How can I apply for a Fiance visa for my out of country fiance?
Q. I have already filled out the form i-129f. Do i need to send in my original citizenship certificate or photocopies of my passport to apply for a fiance visa? Is there anything else I need to send? A. my best advice to you is to visit Emily Post's website or purchase her etiquette book. She is really helpful with all of that kind of stuff. Also, when you go to the card/stationary store to pick out your invitations, it gives you many templates and examples of how to include all family members in the invitations. Congrats on your wedding!!

The two women are bi-sexual, one is single and the other is married and that he continued seeing the single bi woman off and on for a year before she ended the relationship because the married woman got jealous and wanted her for herself. A. After we had been married for several years and had two sons, I found out my wife fooled around with her boyfriend and his best friend at the same time once before we met. She later cheated on her boyfriend with this friend. You'll never get the images out of your head. Dump the deviate and move on or do what I've done and let a psychologist give you proscription for Prozac.

How might my fiance and I go about having a beautiful, yet not too elaborate, Moroccan wedding?
Q. How might my fiance and I go about having a beautiful, yet not too elaborate, Moroccan wedding? We will be holding the wedding in my fiance's country of Morocco; and to my knowledge, there should not be an abundance of guests.
Asked by Hi - Fri Aug 17 15:56:13 2007 - - 5 Answers - 0 Comments

A. You can have a not too elaborate wedding. Often people hold weddings in their own home and just invite family and the very closest of friends. Food is pretty cheap here so the cost of that should not really be a big issue. You can rent dresses if you like, hire in cooks and cleaners and really not spend a big amount of money. You can just have one night or you can do the henna party during the day on one day and keep that for just the very, very closest of women. Then on day two have the proper walima/party.

Asked by ladyrider - Thu Jan 17 20:40:51 2008 - - 3 Answers - 1 Comments

A. No, neither of you are qualifying persons for Head of Household filing status. He might be able to claim you and/or the ex's uncle as dependents IF you lived with him all year, had less than $3,400 in gross income, he provided more than half of your support, and your relationship isn't against local law, i.e. no laws prohibiting cohabitation even if they are unenforced. But he can not claim HoH filing status based upon your dependency.

They chuckled and gave him a hard time for a little while that night but that was the extent. They actually thought it was really sweet ^_^

How to stay sane if my fiance gets attach posted across the country?
Q. My fiance is in the Canadian Air Force and his base is getting a bunch of new J-model Hercules planes. About half of his crew will be going to Arkansas for training for about six months, and he will probably be in that half. We are getting married next year, but how am I going to stay sane when this will be our first experience being apart for so long, and it will also be when I am planning the wedding, starting a new job, and living about five hours away from anyone I really know? I know what this life consists of ... I was simply asking for advice from other military wives on how to cope.

A. My sister tells me about her experiences with other military wives and how it is hard for them to cope with their husbands being deployed or even on special training for possible deployments. And it gets interesting when the wives actually fuss when their husband has night guard which is 24hrs. One wife actually said that she did not want her husband to get deployed and she was even prepared to go straight to his command to tell her some thoughts((my advice to you is to not do that because chances are your husband will get into trouble for that))...so my sister had to step in and calm her down because she has been a military wife for almost 8years now and has seen it all. What you need to do right now is support your soon to be husband… [cont.]

What are the odds of my fiance having cancer?
Q. My fiance just found out his sister has colon cancer that has spread to her liver. His only other biological sibling, his brother had precancerous cells removed and left the military because of it. Does anyone know the chances that he might have some form of cancer?
Asked by Rachel - Wed Jul 28 00:50:10 2010 - - 3 Answers - 0 Comments

A. Obviously his chances are HIGH and because of that, annual screenings will be something he will just HAVE to do. If he starts getting any signs of "IBS" or similar problems then I would "hot foot" it down to the colonoscopy clinic for a complete colonoscopy. Some of the time they don't look at the very top foot or so of colon due to scope limitations,(That is the reason my brother-in-law ended up with stage 4 instead of 2or3) but cancer can and does hide up there and they will need to look so make sure that area gets checked. It is good that he found someone like you to watch over him from this early age. You are his Guardian Angel.

Q. My fiance has a low sex drive due to birth controls and other medicines. What are some things she could take or do that actually work? She needs something that has actually helped other women with the same problem.
Asked by mr.margarita - Tue Jan 8 23:13:05 2008 - - 4 Answers - 0 Comments

A. She should see a doctor to find out if there is something medically wrong with her. Birth control pills usually don't lower sex drives in women. They increased mine. There are no supplements really, but maybe the doctor can change her medications.

Q. I need to sponsor my fiance and his child.
Asked by Candy Kisses - Thu Jun 18 18:44:19 2009 - - 4 Answers - 0 Comments

A. 22,887. You don't have to provide tax returns for the three years, the last year is required but the two previous years are optional (if you want to establish consistency of your income I guess). However, I know that you should submit an employer letter from your current employer or pay stubs for the resent 6 months. If you don't have sufficient income, you can use other people in your household to fill help you and fill out I-864A (note that your household is not always your dependents) or you can ask Your friend to fill out a separate form I-864. Either way, a joint sponsor will have to provide same evidence as the main sponsor. I f you have other questions, don't hesitate to write me a letter,I will be glad to help!

How difficult will it be for my fiance to adopt my daughter?
Q. The "father" of my daughter has not seen her since she was about 3 months old. She is soon to be 4 years old FYI. He has never paid child support or sent her anything. I am getting married this coming spring and my fiance wants to adopt her. How difficult will this be, and what do we need to do to get the ball rolling?
Asked by Jessica - Fri Aug 6 17:47:35 2010 - - 4 Answers - 0 Comments

A. Your daughter's first father will have to consent to the adoption, and will have to sign his rights away. You will need to contact a family law attorney. Please keep a copy of your child's original birth certificate, though. If your new husband adopts her,she will be issued an amended birth certificate, and it may be difficult for your daughter to obtain a passport or other legal forms of identification when she is older.

Q. How long does it take to get to bagdad from North carolina? He said he would leave arounf 4 And from your opinion when do you think my fiance will be able to call me? or use his laptop? so it takes 18hours to get to kuwait? and then how far is bagdad? are the flights there safe?
Asked by **QueenMe** - Thu Jan 17 18:04:23 2008 - - 2 Answers - 0 Comments

A. it does take about 18 hours. Baghdad isn't much further. flights are safe. sometimes they stop in Germany to catch another flight to their destination. if this is the case they can wait there for hours. and even when he gets there it may be another day or so before you hear from him so dont worry. they are able to call even that can be a wait in a long line. they are able to use laptops also. the trip there and home is just very long. and when they get to there destination they have to settle in, the wont be able to just jump on a phone and call you nor a computer. its going to be rough just hang in there and he will call when he can i am sure. It's just the waiting part that is hard. i know all of this from experiance.

How can I get insurance for my fiance with cancer once we get married?
Q. My fiance and I were engaged in May 2007, we are planning to get married in October 2008. In October 2007 he was diagnosed with cancer-- both of us being college students, he is still covered under his parent's insurance. If we get married in October and he can no longer be covered by his parent's insurance-- what are our options? Is there a way for him to take over his current coverage??
Asked by med_student_hopefull - Fri Jan 4 01:45:53 2008 - - 6 Answers - 0 Comments

A. No, he can't take over his current coverage. Either he's an eligible dependent of his parents or he's not. However, depending upon the size of his parent's employer, he may be offered COBRA insurance. (COBRA is quite expensive, but if he needs to continue cancer treatments and can't find other coverage then you do what you gotta do.) Otherwise, one of you will have to get a job with benefits so that he can be on that employer plan after your married. I'm presuming that one of you plans to be employed full time by the time you're married? (Please tell me you're not planning to both still be full time college students and get married in October? Given your fiance's medical condition and knowing that he'll lose his health insurance… [cont.]
