What are the application forms for couples to immigrate to Canada?
Q. My fiance and I are planning to immigrate to Canada together. He will apply through Skilled Worker application, and I will apply as his dependent since I have fewer points than he does. What are the application forms that we will need? Also, both of us are originally from mainland China , and have been living in the United States for almost ten years for school and work. So the question is: should we choose Simplified Skilled Worker application or Regular Skilled Worker application so that the application process will shorter.

A. to move to Canada as a spouse of a Skill worker you do not need to get married. What you need to do is to prove that you lived together for 1 year together/ Bills, rent agreements, car insurance ,letter of friends, etc etc. You have to ad your name to his application.

What is an application paper and what is its general format?
Q. How do you define an application paper? What is the difference between an application paper and a technical paper? What sections are typically a part of an application paper (its format/structure)? What type of information or analysis is usually included in an application paper? Where can I find a sample of one?
Asked by annelisakova - Wed May 20 11:05:27 2009 - - 1 Answers - 0 Comments
A. *The purpose of the application paper is to give you an opportunity to apply the concepts of psychology to your everyday life. The application paper requires you to integrate a theory from the information we've studied with an event or events from your personal experience. In other words, you are to use a theory to analyze and to explain something that has taken place in your life. This is not a theoretical review paper nor is it a simple report of a personal experience. An in-depth review of the theoretical material that you are going to discuss is not necessary. This is simply repeating what I can find in our text or in class notes. It would be unnecessary work for you to use space to provide an in-depth review of material already… [cont.]

An application that can stream your computers image for others to see?
Q. I was wondering if anyone knew of an application that could project what you see on your Computer screen, and broadcast it so that other people may watch it. Of course, it must have audio streaming as well, or just a separate application that has audio streaming capabilities. Oh, besides Procaster, that application has some Audio issues. Thanks in advanced, stay Sexy.

What type of web-based application would be useful to you and your business?
Q. This is a generic question so I'll break it down somewhat. What type of application are you using that doesn't currently do the trick, why? What features should/shouldn't it have? Maybe you're a small business that can't afford an application that large organizations have the budget for. What current business processes do you have that could be simplified with an application? All of these general statements should set off a light bulb. What piece of software could you benefit from, and don't because of budget, doesn't exist, current software solution has limitations, ect.

Q. I got a new phone a few months ago but haven't transferred the applications from my old phone's memory card. Both cell phones (both Motorolas) have microSD memory cards. The application is stored on my old memory card, but now i have applications on 2 memory cards and dont know how to consolidate.

A. you can do it on a computer, there are adapters that you can buy that you put the small memory card in a bigger one, and then thats compatible with a computer. Or you can do it if the phone has a usb b port on it.

What are the application requirements for the fiancee visa to the US?
Q. I am a filipina, my fiance is a U.S. Navy and being deployed, he is hiring a lawyer to process my VISA application, may I know what are the requirements? Because the lawyer is kind of slow. He is not answering my inquiries. He asked for my passport, is it needed when submitting the application?

A. Your husband did not need a lawyer for such a simple process. You need a K1 visa and will need to be able to prove that you have dated your fiance for at least 2 years. Documents showing your relationship include plane tickets where you have met, letters, email, telephone records etc. With your Fiance in the military you can get on a fast track if he goes to his commanding officer and JAG officer

It enables me to transfer all iPhone SMS to computer as a txt file or a ANTS file. More importantly, you can choose to transfer from all contacts or a single contact. It even has step-by-step guide. Hope these can help.

Can I withdraw my application for naturalization before the citizenship exam inverview? How to do it?
Q. Since I left the States for three months before I filed my naturalization application, I know I will fail my citizenship exam during the interview (I have received the interview schedule). I want to re-file the N-400 form again. Can I refile this N-400 form before my interview? Should I cancel my interview and abandon the original application in writing? How to do it? Or I have to attend the interview and then refile a new N-400 form again?
Asked by Lee999 - Wed May 3 02:27:55 2006 - - 2 Answers - 0 Comments
A. If you fail to show up for your interview (or fail to complete any step in the process), they will generally make you begin the process all over again (i.e. New N-400). But if you already know you want to do this, just call them, tell them you would like to cancel your appointment and file a new N-400.

How to answer Salary questions on Job application?
Q. I have been talking to an employer for 3-4 months now. I have been asked to visit them for a (final) in-person interview in early January. I have already been through several layers of phone interviews, but no salary discussions yet. I have previously provided the company with a copy of my resume. Today they have asked me to fill out a job application. The application has a section on previous history together with the begining and ending salary information. I was wondering MUST I fill out the salary sections, or can I just leave the salary fields blank since I do not want them to make me an offer based on what I am earning currently or what have earned in the past. Obviously, I want to earn significantly more than my current job,… [cont.]
Asked by J P - Thu Dec 28 07:46:59 2006 - - 10 Answers - 0 Comments
A. Most companies will demand the salary info so that they can verify it. Hate to tell you but your offer usually IS based on your prior salary and work history. If the company extends an offer you aren't happy with, you can always counter-offer. Just make sure you tack a couple thousand annually extra to give them more room to counter, your counter. Professional business people almost always counter the initial salary offer, that is just business.

When can I start the application process for Green card after I start my employment with h1B?
Q. i.e. Is there a wait-time for which I have to be in H1B before I (or my company) can apply for Green Card. How much does it usually take to get a Green card from the day application process is started? Do most people get their green cards before their H1B expires? A. Start the Green card application process as soon as possible. The Green card application is totally independent of the H1B visa. Read more about the process on this website: www.murthy.com By all means, you would need to use an immigration attorney for the 1st and the 2nd stage of the GC application process. It is very important to find a good attorney as even a small mistake may cost you the green card. When I applied for my green card, my company hired an attorney and I did not know anything about him. To make sure that he was doing everything right, I also consulted with the immigration attorneys provided through the family legal plan at www.bestimmigrationlawyer s.com. For only $16/month I got a very good understanding of the whole… [cont.]

A. You need some sort of server side script. You will have to find out what cgi your server supports. If it supports PHP then this is easy.

What can I do if my application to move into a rental property is turned down?
Q. I just faxed an application to a property managment company to apply for a lease on a new home. I am relocating to a new area for the campany I work for and need to find a new place to rent. My concern is that my credit history is very poor and I will not get approved to move into this new house. Although my credit is poor, I am paying on everything on time at the moment and my credit has begun to go back up but is still not good. If my application is denied, is there anything I can do to persuade them to allow me to move in and sign the lease for the property? Money is not an issue and I can even put down a little more than they are asking for with regards to the security deposit or pay 2-3 months worth of rent up front. Would this… [cont.]
Asked by crpsegrm - Tue Feb 6 13:07:44 2007 - - 2 Answers - 0 Comments
A. Unfortunately it's totally up to the landlord and if credit is an issue they are under no obligation to rent to you. The best thing I can suggest is to be up front with something along the lines of "I'll tell you up front my credit is not so great, it has improved from A to B in the last 6 months and I have no late payments" Offer proof of it along the lines of current rental/payment histories. The problem is a lot of people are hestitant and hold out on disclosing the credit problem after they've wasted the potential landlords time by looking at the place which makes them look sneaky. I think up front and honesty along with some hopeful face to face dialog may sway them.

Should I turn in a new application when handing in a resume?
Q. When I first moved I turned in several applications without resumes. Needless to say I didn't get a call back from any of them. Now, a few months later, I'm planning on reapplying to several of those places. Should I turn in a new application with my resume or just hand in the resume itself?
Asked by Stephen Y - Sun Oct 12 02:53:48 2008 - - 1 Answers - 0 Comments
A. Most definitely. Your resume tells a lot more about you than you can fill out in an application form. As you may have seen the space on application forms is quite limited. So, do include your resume with all application forms. Hope that helps! Eve www.resumesbyeve.com

How do I know that my application had been reviewed at costco?
Q. I applied like three days ago through online application. Should I call them or just wait? How long does it take for them to review the application?
Asked by gardenOfTheLife - Sun Dec 7 01:04:28 2008 - - 12 Answers - 0 Comments
A. Three days is way too soon. Go back on-line if you wish and request a status of application. They get a lot of applications so never let them forget that you are still available and eager to come work for them. In this economy take any position available. You can always request a change in positions later. If asked to interview be sure to thank them for the opportunity and even send them a thank you card. That will tell them that you are serious and stand out from the rest. Good Luck.

They get a lot of applications so never let them forget that you are still available and eager to come work for them. In this economy take any position available. You can always request a change in positions later. If asked to interview be sure to thank them for the opportunity and even send them a thank you card. That will tell them that you are serious and stand out from the rest. Good Luck.

How do I attach a windows application created in VB9 to a web page for my website?
Q. I can't figure out how to attach a windows application file to a web page, allowing people to use the application, not allowing them to download it.

A. There are a couple of ways to do this. Since you cannot run execputable files such as a windows app in a website what you can do is get someone that knows a good amount of Flash and transfer it into a flash program. Secondly you can just use a server that the users can remote desktop to it. But that is very unsecure and you may need to rent a server for this.
